A Commonwealth Fund study shows that more than 2 out of every 5 working adults has difficulty paying medical bills or carries medical debt. While the linked article shows that there are those who dispute the accuracy of the study's findings, there is no denying that health care costs are a tremendous financial burden for many Americans.
