Cross-Border Healthcare

This article in the San Diego Union-Tribune describes an interesting job-based coverage option available to people living close to our border with Mexico. Some Americans are opting to receive their healthcare in Mexico - and their job-based insurance plans are paying for it! Many of the employees who are taking advantage of these plans are Spanish-speakers who are looking to reduce or limit their healthcare costs by going to Mexico, where medical treatment is cheaper.
