The New York Times has recently published an article about concierge care. This is a system where patients can receive more personalized individual attention for an annual fee. Concierge care is becoming increasingly popular - but some experts question the ethics of such arrangements, worrying that those who are unable to afford the annual fee will receive inferior care.
