Finally! Part D Plan Comparison Tool Fully Operational

Friday November 11, 2005
Medicare has finally updated their Part D Plan Comparison Tool to include drug pricing information. This means that you can enter a list of medications and find out what your estimated annual out-of-pocket costs will be under each plan available in your area. This will help you determine which Part D prescription drug plan will best suit your needs.

I tried the comparison tool this morning and it did not work correctly. When inputing the original checklist, it put you in a loop. I had to enter that there was no coverage at all. After all the work, it said pricing was not available.

I entered all the drug data and got a “Stem temporarily unavailable” message. This problem continued for three hours when I finally quit.
