Baltimore Health Insurers Find a Way To Cater To Elderly and Frail

Two insurance companies in Baltimore insure the elderly and frail despite the fact that these patients often have the highest health costs. The companies rely on increased payments from the Medicare program and aggressive disease management programs to help contain costs. It will be interesting to see how well they do in 2006, and if other insurance companies will follow suit.
