VA Care Rated Higher Than Private Hospital Care
Sunday January 29, 2006
There was a time when the Veterans Administration was ridiculed for the inefficient and mediocre health care it offered. But times have changed. Veterans are overwhelmingly pleased with the system and rate it significantly higher than their privately insured counterparts.
It remains to be seen how the VA will fare as more veterans return from Iraq and Afghanistan, but currently, they are doing very well. Could their system be a model for overall health care reform in our country?
