West Virginia Moves Toward Universal Health Coverage
Sunday February 12, 2006
The West Virginia legislature made some incremental steps towards developing a universal health coverage plan in their state, but is wary of taking that last, final step. State Senate President Earl Ray Tomblin expressed some concerns about pressing forward on the issue, stating, "I'm not sure we are ready for universal health care or can afford it."
How do you feel about universal health coverage? Do you think that it would resolve our country's health care woes? Do you think that it would limit patient choice and affect the quality of care available in the U.S.? Come by the forum to discuss.
