Consumers Overwhelmed By Health Savings Account Decisionmaking
Saturday February 18, 2006
Research shows that many Americans may not be ready for the Health Savings Accounts that our current presidential administration so strongly advocates. A consumer that has a health savings account must continually analyze the cost vs. benefit of each of their health care decisions - including which doctor they should see, as well as whether or not to get an expensive surgical procedure. Studies show that Americans do not want to make these kinds of decisions. When presented with too many options, Americans tend to avoid choosing entirely.
