More Companies Find On-Site Doctors To Be a Cost-Effective Benefit
Monday April 17, 2006
A growing number of companies are offering workplace health clinics. This is an effort to reduce health care costs by improving employee health and allowing for early intervention of any developing health problems. Companies find that having a doctor on-site also improves worker productivity, as employees do not have to leave the office for doctor's appointments.
Employers can save from $3-$6 for every dollar spent on workplace health programs.
