Medicare To Go Broke in 2018

Each year, the trustees of the Medicare trust fund issue a report indicating how well the program is doing financially. This year's report predicts that the fund will be depleted in 2018. So the future of Medicare financing is even more bleak than it seemed last year - 2005's report predicted that the trust fund would last until 2020.
