For Small Businesses, Employee Health Insurance and Profitability Go Hand-in-Hand

A survey of small business owners shows that they believe that offering quality health insurance packages to their employees is key to the success of their businesses. Health coverage helps them to attract and keep the best workers. Owners directly link competitive health insurance benefits with business profitability. Unfortunately, only 58% of small businesses offer coverage to their employees - and cost is the major (sometimes only) obstacle to raising that percentage.
