Health Savings Account Owners Inadequately Fund Their Accounts

Data indicates that only 26% of all people with high deductible health plans have actually opened a linked health savings account and funded the account with savings to cover medical expenses. Experts conclude that Americans are still confused about health savings accounts and do not understand the immediate savings and tax benefits of fully utilizing a high deductible health plan and its linked health savings account.
