Most Employers Plan to Cut Retirement Benefits For Current And/Or Future Employees

According to a recent report released by Watson Wyatt Worldwide, a majority of employers are planning to restrict their retiree medical benefits for current and future employees over the next 5 years. 14% plan to eliminate retiree health benefits entirely for future employees. In light of these statistics, it would be wise for people planning their retirement to factor health care costs into their equation.
