Third-party payors, like insurance companies and Medicare, are increasingly relying on sophisticated detection software to combat fraud. According to the USAToday, fraud accounts for 3%-10% of health care spending in the U.S. The fraud detection software is able to flag suspicious claims sooner, before millions of dollars are paid to fraudulent billers.
