Group Insurers Offering More Limited Benefits Plans
Monday November 20, 2006
Limited benefit plans, also known as "mini-medical" plans, have high deductibles and limited benefits, but they cost significantly less than traditional health insurance plans. The Wichita Eagle reports that three of the largest insurers in the area have developed limited benefit products designed to appeal to employers. The goal is to reduce the cost of providing insurance so that more employers will be able to offer health benefits to their employees.
