No Charge For Some Antibiotics At Publix

From Kelly Montgomery, About.com GuideAugust 6, 2007

Good news for people who shop at Publix, a grocery store chain in several Southern states including Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee - some commonly prescribed antibiotics are now available for free at Publix pharmacies. According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, free prescription antibiotics include amoxicillin, cephalexin, ciprofloxacin, sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim, penicillin VK, ampicillin and erythromycin. These are inexpensive generic medications which are often used to treat respiratory infections in children.
