Chronically Ill Fare Worse in U.S. Than Other Countries

A recent report from Reuters shows that Americans with chronic illnesses are more likely to experience problems obtaining treatment because of high costs that people with chronic illnesses living in other developed countries. Americans are also more likely to be victims of medical errors. However, we pay almost twice as much for health care than other countries do. The study concludes that this data means that our system is much more inefficient and wasteful than system in other countries.
