More Companies Open - and Upgrade - On-Site Health Clinics
Saturday December 27, 2008
Many companies have already opened on-site health clinics as a way of managing the health of their employees. In many cases, these clinics also help the companies save money. Now, according to the San Francisco Chronicle, more companies are opening on-site health clinics, and also seek to upgrade the level of care offered to encourage workers to use these clinics as their primary providers. A few large employers like Cisco Systems and Pitney Bowes have upgraded clinics offering physicians, chiropractors, physical therapy and even a pharmacy on-site. Perhaps an on-site health clinic may be opening soon at an employer near you.
